Tioman island Malaysia

1. one of the most beautiful islands in Malaysia

2. u can take flight from klia, ferry from tanjung gemuk or ferry from mersing jetty

3. ticket from mersing jetty is MYR 35 per person per way

4. children under 12, the ticket is is MYR 25 per way

5. if not mistaken, tioman would be closed from Nov to Feb every year due to monsoon season

6. there are 5 stops in tioman namely tekek, ABC, kg salang and i forget the other two stops

7. tekek is the centre where there is a small town there. facilities available which u might not found in the other 4 stops including atm machine, mosque to perform friday prayer, school and so on.

8. tekek is the third stop by the way

9. cost per meal would be around MYR 5 to MYR 20, depending on what you eat

9. meals is easy to find here, don't worry. u won't starve on the island

10. it is advisable if you can buy tidbits, drinking water especially, before u go to the island

11. chalet/accommodation is quite easy to find, once u arrive your preferred stop, just walk around and ask the room rate.

12. perfect for travelers, weekenders, honeymooners, bag packers, and divers like me. huhuhuhu

13. i went to kg salang to take my PADI OW license. it costs me MYR 950

14. i dived under the kg salang jetty and it was an unforgettable moment for me. jumped all the way down from the jetty

15. for boat dive, i when to fan canyon, batu malang twice and pulau soyak. fan canyon is awesome. wallah~!!! it is very very beautiful. batu malang not to forget. there, u  would dive between rocks, under huge rock, through holes and so on.

16. activities include scuba diving, jungle trekking, island hoping, snorkeling, fish feeding and many more
